Tanzania to Host 2024 Mining Investment Conference in Dar es Salaam, November 19-21

Tanzania Mining Investment Conference 2024

The Ministry of Minerals of the United Republic of Tanzania, in collaboration with the Tanzania Chamber of Mines (TCM), has announced the 6th Tanzania Mining and Investment Conference, set to take place from November 19th to 21st, 2024 in Dar es Salaam.

The event will be hosted at the Julius Nyerere International Convention Center (JNICC), a hub for business and international engagement.

Tanzania, a global leader in the mining sector, boasts significant mineral wealth, including metallic minerals, rare gemstones like Tanzanite, the Winza ruby, and the Mahenge Spinel, alongside a vast array of industrial and energy minerals.

As global demand for these resources rises, the conference will provide a platform to showcase Tanzania’s immense investment potential in exploration, mining, and mineral value addition.

Themed “Mineral Value Addition for Socio-Economic Development,” the 2024 conference will highlight the critical role of mineral processing in driving sustainable growth as the world transitions to green energy and critical mineral demand increases.

This event will bring together key global mining stakeholders, investors, industry leaders, and government representatives to explore new opportunities and gain insights into Tanzania’s mining policies, investment incentives, and supportive business environment.

The event will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, and networking sessions, and will also host the prestigious “Usiku wa Madini” gala, recognizing excellence in Tanzania’s mining industry.

A gemstone show will further spotlight the country’s rich gemstone sector, offering a unique opportunity to engage with industry experts and explore Tanzania’s lucrative investment prospects.
