Tanzania Mining and Investment Conference (TMIC) 2026: 19-21 November 2026, Dar es Salaam
The Tanzania Mining and Investment Conference (TMIC) 2026 will be held from 19 to 21 November at the Julius Nyerere International Convention Center (JNICC) in Dar es Salaam under the theme "Value-Added Minerals: The Engine of Industrialization and Economic Growth." Hosted by the Ministry of Minerals with the Tanzania Chamber of Mines, the seventh edition expects 2,000 to 3,000 participants from over 50 countries and more than 100 speakers to discuss financing and de-risking value-addition projects, critical minerals pipeline projects, and industrial parks for smelting and refining, alongside project pitching by selected mining projects and value-addition opportunities in cement, ceramics, graphite for battery anodes, nickel, cobalt, steel, copper, and gold.
EU–Tanzania Investment and Business Forum 2026-2027 to Connect Investors and Businesses
The EU–Tanzania Investment and Business Forum 2026–2027 will connect European investors, Tanzanian businesses, and public institutions to develop new investment partnerships in key sectors, including agriculture, energy, minerals, and digital innovation. The initiative will begin with European roadshows in Helsinki, Finland (28–29 September 2026), Emilia-Romagna, Italy (1–2 October 2026), and The Hague, Netherlands (5–6 October 2026), followed by a high-level forum in Dar es Salaam in early 2027.

The programme combines an exhibition, keynote address, masterclasses, a start-up pitch competition and an awards gala dinner, covering digital payments, cashless systems, regulation, fintech insurance and renewable energy.

Tanzania will host the 13th edition of the Building African Financial Markets (BAFM) Forum on 1-2 July 2026 in Dar es Salaam, jointly organized by the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange (DSE) and the African Securities Exchanges Association (ASEA). The forum will convene CEOs of African stock exchanges, regulators, pension funds, brokers, and development finance institutions, including AfDB, IFC, and the World Bank, to discuss liquidity, fintech, cross-border listings, AfCFTA capital flows, ESG instruments, ETFs, REITs, and SME platforms.
