CTI Tanzania Jobs Communication Intern and Accounts Officer

The Confederation of Tanzania Industries (CTI) is inviting applications for two open positions: Communication Officer (Intern/Volunteer) and Accounts Officer.

CTI is a leading Business Membership Organization established in 1991 to represent and advocate for the growth and competitiveness of Tanzania’s industrial sector.

1. Communication Officer (Intern/Volunteer)
The Communication Officer will support CTI’s communication strategy, content creation, and social media activities.

Responsibilities:
-Manage and monitor CTI’s social media channels (Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram).
-Create digital content, including copy, graphics, and videos for communication campaigns.
-Design posters, infographics, flyers, and briefs.
-Capture photographs during events and meetings.

Requirements:
-Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Media & Communication or related field.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
-Skills in content creation and graphic design.
-Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).

Desired:
Experience in media, communications, video editing, and photography.

2. Accounts Officer
The Accounts Officer will handle CTI’s financial operations and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:
-Support annual budgeting and financial forecasting.
-Maintain financial records and handle payroll, payments, invoices, and petty cash.
-Manage fixed asset register and prepare financial reports.
-Ensure internal control and coordinate with external regulators and auditors.
-Assist in financial resource mobilization.

Requirements:
-Degree in Accounting or equivalent (e.g., Professional Foundation Stage).
-Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience.
-Fluency in English and Kiswahili.
-Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Office applications.
-Strong teamwork and initiative.
