Tanzania-UAE Business Forum 2024

Tanzania Investment Centre (TIC), in collaboration with the Dubai International Chamber (DIC), Tanzania Public Sector Foundation (TPSF), Zanzibar Investment Promotion Authority (ZIPA), and Tanzania Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (TCCIA), is organizing the Tanzania-UAE Business Forum.

The event will take place on Thursday, 12th December 2024, at the Johari Rotana Hotel in Dar es Salaam.

The Forum aims to create and strengthen mutual connections between Tanzania and the United Arab Emirates, as well as identify and explore business opportunities between the two nations.

Tanzania Exports Grow 17.2% to USD 19.9 Billion in Year Ending June 2026, Led by Gold, Manufactured Goods, and Tourism

Tanzania's exports of goods and services grew 17.2% to USD 19,923.6 million in the year ending June 2026, with goods exports up 19.2% to USD 11,782.7 million on a 36.4% rise in gold to USD 5,522.9 million and a 46.3% jump in manufactured goods to USD 2,162.2 million. Service receipts grew 14.4% to USD 8,140.9 million, with travel earnings of USD 4,405.5 million supported by a 4.5% rise in international tourist arrivals to 2,291,479.

Tanzania Exports Grow 17.8% to USD 19.7 Billion in Year Ending May 2026, Led by Gold and Tourism

Tanzania's exports of goods and services grew 17.8% to USD 19,679.4 million in the year ending May 2026, with goods exports up 20.4% to USD 11,627.9 million on a 46.7% surge in gold to USD 5,532.3 million and a 38.3% rise in manufactured goods to USD 2,009.3 million. Traditional exports added 12.8% to USD 1,639.7 million, led by tobacco, coffee, and cotton, while service receipts climbed 14.2% to USD 8,051.5 million, led by travel earnings of USD 4,419.1 million.
