TOL Gases Profits Increase

Keeping its high stock price of Sh240 for the past three months, up from Sh190 earlier this year, the board of TOL Gases was proud to proclaim another example of profit increase to it shareholders a few days ago.

TOL Gases has noted record revenue growth of 26% this year. Mr. Temu, Chairman of TOL Gases, credits the growth to the execution of strategic initiatives and projects, including the expansion of their CO2 production capacity from 5,040 tonnes to 19,000 tonnes a year. Investments in infrastructure and technology are expected to help underline the projection of growth for TOL Gases.

This is deemed necessary given TOL Gases’ ambition is to be the partner of choice in the Liquefied Petroleum Gas market, a booming market for Tanzania.

TOL Gases Limited produces industrial and medical gases. The company offers industrial oxygen, dissolved acetylene, nitrogen, compressed aid, argon, hydrogen, white spot, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, medical oxygen, nitrous oxide. It also engages in welding and metal fabrication.

The company was formerly known as TOL Limited and changed its name to TOL Gases Limited in September, 2006. TOL Gases Limited was founded in 1950 and is based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Tanzania to Build 229-Acre Industrial Park at NDC Machame Site

Tanzania will develop a 229.13-acre industrial park on a National Development Corporation (NDC) site along the Machame route in Hai District, Kilimanjaro Region, the Minister of Industry and Trade announced in Parliament on 10 June 2026. Tanzania Industry and Trade Budget 2026/2027 of TZS 137.81 Billion to Fund Liganga-Mchuchuma Iron Project and AfCFTA Market Access

Tanzania's TZS 137.81 billion Industry and Trade Budget 2026/27 will fund the Liganga iron and Mchuchuma coal integrated project, with Chinese state-owned Shudao Investment Group (SDIG) and the National Development Corporation expected to sign joint venture agreements in the first half of 2026/27 to develop the iron and coal mines and a steel processing plant. Tanzania and Russia Agree to Open Industry, Energy, and Infrastructure to Joint Investment

Tanzania and Russia have agreed to deepen investment cooperation in industry, energy, transport infrastructure, and air transport, with value-addition processing, production technology, and goods transportation named as priority areas at the Third Joint Intergovernmental Commission held in Arusha on 15–16 May 2026, which drew 120 Russian companies. The deals also cover Russian investment in mining, agriculture, and ICT, direct Air Tanzania (ATCL) flights to Russia, and a signed agreement to promote the Swahili language in Russia.
