ALAF Tanzania Launches New Corporate Identity And Strategy

ALAF Ltd, previously known as Aluminium Africa Ltd, launched its new corporate logo recently in Dar Es Salaam Tanzania, in line with ALAF’s new corporate identity and its association with the SAFAL Group.


ALAF’s CEO, Mr. Pankaj Kumar said at the launch that the company is beginning a new journey with a new improved look and the name, mission and values remaining unchanged.

The event witnessed the presence of Tanzania Minister of Industry and trade, Dr. Abdallah Omary Kigoda who mentioned that since its establishment in 1960, ALAF has remained a reliable and effective provider of construction materials, mainly roofing materials.

ALAF Ltd. was nationalized in 1973 and then privatized in 1997 and has been one of the success story of the Industrial Privatization Policy of the Government of Tanzania.

The company’s products are exported to all neighbouring countries like Zambia, Malawi, Burundi, Rwanda, Uganda etc. thereby earning valuable foreign exchange for the country and has employed over 500 people.
