Tanzania is expected to receive TZS 904 billion (USD 559 million) as a budget support for 2014/2015 from its donors in the General Budges Support Group (GBS).

Fund is to be spent on improved accountability and transparency of the government, poverty reduction, job opportunities, upgraded service delivery, anti-corruption measures, and improvement of public financial management.

The donor’s support is almost 2% higher (TZS 15 billion) than the initial GBS commitment for the year, and 38% higher than 2013 financial year support.
