Tanzania Investment Centre to Host Foreign Investors’ Dialogue Forum on 31st October 2024 in Dar es Salaam

Tanzania Investment Centre Foreign Investors Dialogue Forum

The Tanzania Investment Centre (TIC) has announced a major dialogue forum for all foreign investors operating in the country, scheduled for Thursday, 31st October 2024 at the Johari Rotana Conference Centre in Dar es Salaam.

The event, which starts at 9:00 AM, aims to provide an open platform for investors to directly engage with key government bodies, including the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation.

The dialogue is part of its ongoing efforts to make the country a preferred destination for foreign direct investment (FDI) in Africa.

The forum is expected to address three main objectives:

  1. Gather Feedback: Investors will be able to provide direct feedback on the progress of their investment projects in Tanzania.
  2. Update on Reforms: TIC will provide updates on recent reforms within the investment landscape, highlighting improvements aimed at streamlining business operations.
  3. Discussion of Challenges: Investors will have the opportunity to raise issues requiring immediate attention from TIC, TRA, and other government agencies involved in facilitating investments.

The event seeks to improve the investment climate by resolving investor challenges and ensuring smoother project implementation. This initiative underscores TIC’s mission to make Tanzania a more attractive and competitive investment destination.

Foreign investors are invited to confirm their participation through their respective chambers of commerce or business communities. Any inquiries regarding the meeting can be directed to Mr. Felix John at +255 753 087 998 or via email at felix.michael@tic.go.tz.
