Italy-Tanzania Business Forum 2025

On 11th and 12th February 2025, the Italian Trade Agency (ICE), in collaboration with the Embassy of Italy in Dar es Salaam and supported by Italian industrial associations ANIMA, FEDERCUNACOMA, UCIMA, and UNIDI, will host the 4th Edition of the Italy-Tanzania Business Forum in Dar es Salaam.

This high-level forum offers Italian businesses an excellent opportunity to engage with Tanzanian stakeholders, showcasing Italian technologies and exploring bilateral trade and partnership opportunities.

The forum will include institutional presentations and B2B meetings, particularly focused on the following sectors:

  • Agro-food and Agribusiness: Agricultural mechanization, livestock feed, fertilizers, irrigation, tobacco, and cashew processing.

Additionally, other sectors will be explored, and Italian companies from all industries can benefit from tailored B2B meetings organized for free.

    Tanzania Economic Performance in 2025 Records 6.4% GDP Growth in Q3, 3.6% Inflation, 23.5% Credit Growth, 37.4% Gold Export Rise, and 2.29 Million Tourists

    Tanzania’s economic performance in 2025 recorded real GDP growth of 6.4% in Q3, stable inflation at 3.6%, and strong private sector credit expansion of 23.5%, while lending rates moderated to 15.24%. Exports of goods and services rose by 10.2%, led by gold exports increasing 37.4% to about USD 4.7 billion, while international tourist arrivals reached 2.29 million.
