Tanzania's financial markets in the week to 2nd October 2026 saw the 15-year Treasury bond yield rise to 10.7907% from 10.5515%, oversubscribed by TZS 296.86 billion, while the shilling firmed 0.15% to TZS 2,641.42 per US dollar. The interbank 7-day rate eased to 6.72% on a volume of TZS 927.45 billion, and outstanding government securities reached TZS 33,407.97 billion.
