Equity turnover on the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange fell -35.36% week-on-week to TZS 18.02 billion during Week 41 of 2026, with 7,095,006 shares changing hands across 17,486 deals. TOL advanced +6.36%, MCB gained +4.05%, and MBP rose +4.02% among the top gainers, while MUCOBA led decliners at -14.44%, followed by PAL at -4.92% and AFRIPRISE at -4.70%. Total market capitalisation stood at TZS 40,077.28 billion, as the DSEI slipped -0.74% and the Banks, Finance & Investment index retreated -1.49%. Bond market turnover reached TZS 77.35 billion, declining -6.46% from the prior week.
