NICO led the gainers with a 17.46% increase in its stock price, while JHL was the biggest loser, declining by -10.94%.

Market Capitalization

At the end of Week 12, 2025, the total market capitalization at the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange (DSE) stood at TZS 19,220.68 billion, reflecting a -0.03% decrease from TZS 19,227.00 billion recorded in Week 11. Meanwhile, domestic market capitalization increased to TZS 12,839.41 billion, marking a 0.24% rise from TZS 12,808.54 billion in the previous week.

The bond market recorded a total turnover of TZS 126.29 billion across 74 deals during Week 12 of 2025, reflecting a -26.15% decrease compared to TZS 171.01 billion in Week 11. Trading activity was dominated by 20-year and 25-year bonds, which accounted for the majority of the turnover.

The total turnover for corporate bonds reached TZS 645.60 million, with activity recorded on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Week 12 of 2025 saw mixed performance across indices at the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange (DSE). The All Share Index (DSEI) dropped slightly by -0.03%, while the Tanzania Share Index (TSI) rose by 0.24%.
