Despite the shorter week, the market saw a significant increase in turnover, driven by activity in CRDB and block trades on Thursday, though market capitalization and indexes posted slight declines.

Turnover and Volume

For the week ending Friday, 29th November 2024, the DSE recorded a total turnover of TZS 7,231.38 million from 2,664,589 shares traded in 1,823 deals.

This represents a +228.97% increase in turnover and a +34.85% increase in volume compared to Week 47, which recorded a turnover of TZS 2,198.14 million from 1,975,819 shares traded.
