Tanzania Weekly Market Report 15th to 19th September, 2014

According to CORE Securities, named East Africa Best Advisory Brokerage by Capital Finance International, the Dar Es Salaam Stock Exchange total turnover during the week ending September 19th 2014 decreased by -68% to TZS 9,837.91 milion from TZS  31,103.11 million the previous week.

On Friday 19th September 2014 TSI Closed at 4,85.29 (-0.42%), IA closed at 6,423.25 (-1.03%) and BI Closed at 3,619.38 (+0.39%) points.

Most of activites were sen on CRDB, TBL, TWIGA & NMB counters.

TOL remains at TZS 480 per share.

On Friday 19th Septembre 2014 1USD=TZS 1,663.3 compared to 1,640.50 a week earlier (+0.16%).

Gold 

On Friday 19th Septembre 2014 Closing Spot Price was TZS 65,46.49 per gram compared to TZS 65,687.49 a week earlier.
