United States President Obama to Visit Tanzania

In the much anticipated three nation tour to Africa, the United States President Barack Obama will visit East Africa’s emerging market, Tanzania during 26 June – 03 July 2013

The visit to Africa will also include a tour to Senegal and South Africa, the White House revealed.

The trip to Tanzania is seen as an important part of bolstering US relations with emerging markets and especially as Tanzania races toward becoming East Africa’s most important economy and one of the world’s significant contributors of oil and gas after recent natural gas discoveries in the country.
