The Tanzania Private Sector Foundation (TPSF), the apex body of the private sector organizations in Tanzania, signed a cooperation agreement with the Movement of the Enterprises of France (MEDEF), the largest union of employers in France.
The agreement aims to incentive mutual commitment to foster bilateral business and trade ties between business of the two countries.
The event saw the presence of French Trade minister, Nicole Bricq, French Ambassador to Tanzania, Marcel Escure, TPSF Chairman, Dr Reginald Mengi.
During the event Minister Bricq commented that she expects trade between France and Tanzania to increase in the six years, thanks to the current and future strong economic growth Tanzania is experiencing.
Tanzania is currently France’s second trading partner in East Africa.
