Tanzania-Japan Business and Investment Forum 2025

The Tanzania Investment Centre (TIC), in collaboration with the Tanzania Embassy in Japan and the Embassy of Japan in Tanzania, will host the Tanzania-Japan Business and Investment Forum on 14th January 2025 at the Johari Rotana Hotel in Dar es Salaam.

The Forum aims to promote business and investment opportunities between Tanzania and Japan, fostering partnerships and exploring avenues for mutual economic growth.

The event will focus on priority sectors, including finance, construction, information technology, logistics, manufacturing, agriculture, mining, energy, and trading.

Japan is one of Tanzania’s key trade and investment partners. Japanese investments in Tanzania span sectors such as energy, manufacturing, and infrastructure. Bilateral trade between the two countries includes Tanzanian exports of minerals, agricultural products, and seafood, while imports from Japan primarily consist of machinery, vehicles, and technology.

The Forum will provide a platform for participants from both nations to exchange insights and explore potential collaborations in these priority sectors.
