Bond turnover totalled TZS 213.96 bn, up +44.31 % from Week 25’s TZS 148.26 bn.
Government securities supplied about TZS 213.78 bn across 176 deals, led by a 25-year 15.75 % tranche worth TZS 30.20 bn (24 Jun), a 20-year 15.49 % issue of TZS 28.40 bn (24 Jun), and a 25-year 15.75 % placement of TZS 20.25 bn (23 Jun).
Corporate bonds added roughly TZS 0.18 bn from 15 deals in 3- and 5-year notes with coupons of 9.50 %–12.00 %.
