Benefits and Incentives to Investors in Real Estate in Zanzibar

In 2021, Zanzibar introduced a set of new incentives for buyers in properties within a strategic real estate investment project worth over USD 100,000.

The incentives include a residence permit every two years for the investor, his spouse, and up to four children. They were approved by the Zanzibari government and cabinet in 2021.

However, the union government has to ratify the incentives that are awaiting approval by Tanzania’s Attorney General.
